ORDINANCE NO. 656 CONTINUED ORDINANCE NO. 657 POSS ANNEXATION REQUEST SECOND READING PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 658 POSS ZONING REQUEST SECOND READING PUBLIC HEARING Minutes - page 3 August 21, 1979 prior to election. Mr. Joss noted that the reason for the reapportionment was due to the annexations and development since the last election. Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. 656 be adopted. Seconded by Council- man Kilker. Roll call. Berry yes, Meier yes, Caranci yes, Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Attorney J03S read Ordinance No. 657 on second reading by title only, stating that the ordinance and notice of public hearing were properly published. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Mrs. Joslin reported that she opposed the annexation because her leach ~field is on that land, and that she and Mr. Poss have not resolved the problem. Mr. Drumm responded that the problem should be resolved before the annexation and it was a recommendation by the Planning Com- mission to have it resolved prior to annexation. Councilman DiCarlo stated that it was brought to his attention that the property where the leaeh field is vms offered to Hrs. .Joslin knd she declined. Mrs. Joslin stated that the property ~vas not offered to her and she has offered to buy it, but there was no acceptance of the offer. Ken Buffo, 137 Jackson Cir., property owner, stated that when it was sold it was listed as one piece which included Mrs. Joslin's pro- perty. Hhen she purchased the property she bought only the part with the house and at that time she signed an agreement knowing that the septic system was not on her pro- perty and also a fence needed to be moved which she agreed to do. Hayor \.\Taschak closed the public hearing. Councilman Meier moved that Ordinance No.657 be tabled until September 18, 1979. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 658 on second reading by title only, stating that the ordinance and notice of public hearing was properly pu.blished. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the public hearing on Ordinance No. 658 be tabled and continued on September 18, 1979. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried.
