Mr. Joss noted that the <br />reason for the reapportionment was due to <br />the annexations and development since the <br />last election. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />No. 656 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man Kilker. Roll call. Berry yes, <br />Meier yes, Caranci yes, Kilker yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney J03S read Ordinance No. 657 on <br />second reading by title only, stating that <br />the ordinance and notice of public hearing <br />were properly published. Mayor Waschak <br />opened the public hearing. <br />Mrs. Joslin reported that she opposed the <br />annexation because her leach ~field is on that <br />land, and that she and Mr. Poss have not <br />resolved the problem. <br />Mr. Drumm responded that the problem should <br />be resolved before the annexation and it <br />was a recommendation by the Planning Com- <br />mission to have it resolved prior to annexation. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that it was brought <br />to his attention that the property where the <br />leaeh field is vms offered to Hrs. .Joslin <br />knd she declined. <br />Mrs. Joslin stated that the property ~vas not <br />offered to her and she has offered to buy it, <br />but there was no acceptance of the offer. <br /> <br />Ken Buffo, 137 Jackson Cir., property owner, <br />stated that when it was sold it was listed as <br />one piece which included Mrs. Joslin's pro- <br />perty. Hhen she purchased the property she <br />bought only the part with the house and at <br />that time she signed an agreement knowing <br />that the septic system was not on her pro- <br />perty and also a fence needed to be moved <br />which she agreed to do. <br />Hayor \.\Taschak closed the public hearing. <br />Councilman Meier moved that Ordinance No.657 <br />be tabled until September 18, 1979. Seconded <br />by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 658 on <br />second reading by title only, stating that <br />the ordinance and notice of public hearing <br />was properly pu.blished. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the public <br />hearing on Ordinance No. 658 be tabled and <br />continued on September 18, 1979.
