<br />Minutes - page 6 <br />August 7, 1979 <br /> <br />WATER TAP FEE INCREASE <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />CouncilJman DelPizzo stated that he did <br />not approve of the increase and would <br />like to see the rates as they are. <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker stated that the study <br />was made and the recommendation was <br />submitted and in order to keep up with <br />the increase in water prices along with <br />all other increases, the tap fee pro- <br />posed is necessary. <br /> <br />PARK & REC FEE <br /> <br />John Leary 1116 LaFarge asked if the <br />Park & Rec. was escrowed or put into the <br />general fund. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that all special fees <br />are escrowed. <br /> <br />P.U.D. <br /> <br />Mr. Leary also stated that it is not <br />good planning if a PUD is approved <br />and the prices change <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 655 <br />SECOND READING <br />STAGGERED TERMS <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the Ordinance <br />is not valid and recommended that it be <br />denied. <br />He read the reading on second reading by <br />title only and reported that it had been <br />properly published. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 655 be denied. Seconded by Council- <br />man Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 656 <br />SECOND READING <br />WARD APPORTIONMENT <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance <br />had not been published and asked Coun- <br />cil to table the Ordinance and con- <br />sider it on August 21, 1979 on second <br />reading. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 656 be tabled until the August 21, <br />meeting. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Councilman Meier asked if that gave <br />enough time. <br />Attorney Joss reported that it would be <br />in the time limit and there would not <br />be any problem with that. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 651 <br />WATER TAP FEE INCREASE <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that all proper <br />publications had been made, he then read <br />the ordi.nance on second reading by title <br />only. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Ordinance <br />No. 651 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Kilker. <br />
