WOODEN SHOE REQUEST CONTINUED WALTER WAREMBOURG PROPERTY SALES REQUEST CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS BUDGET WORK SESSION RESCHEDULE CORRESPONDENCE Minutes - pa9ge9 8 August_7, I 7 Councilman Caranci moved that the Wooden Shoe request be denied. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Councilman DelPizzo felt that we should service the area. After comments the motion carried to deny the request 5 - 1 vote. Mr. Wurl stated that the City bought a portion of property between 96th over to the railroad tracks with a small piece on the east side, this included a portion that ran along the railroad track, ~,,]hich Mr. Warembourg would like to buy back. Mr. Wurl recommended that the City de- termine if the City haa an~ use for the property. Councilman Caranci moved that the Martin letter and the price of $3,840.00 be denied. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried 5 - 1. Parks & Recreation Director Stahl reported that on August 2, 1979 a meeting was held between staff, Cemetery Board and the representatives of Knights of Pythias and Redmen. He reported that only the staff and Cemetery Board were present to discuss the rules and regulations. Presentation included the rules and re- gulations for the cemetery, lot sales, and closing of certain streets in the cemeterv. After discussion Councilman Kilker moved that the Parks & Rec. Directors request regarding Cemetery Rules and Regulations, street vacations and lot sales, be approved. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl requested that the work session scheduled for August 23, 1979, be re- scheduled for August 16, 1979. Mr. Wurl revi.ewed correspondence. Councilman Kilker moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man DelPizzo. Motion carried.
