Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. <br />Councilman DelPizzo felt that we should <br />service the area. <br />After comments the motion carried to deny <br />the request 5 - 1 vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City bought a <br />portion of property between 96th over <br />to the railroad tracks with a small <br />piece on the east side, this included <br />a portion that ran along the railroad <br />track, ~,,]hich Mr. Warembourg would like <br />to buy back. <br />Mr. Wurl recommended that the City de- <br />termine if the City haa an~ use for the <br />property. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the Martin <br />letter and the price of $3,840.00 be <br />denied. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Motion carried 5 - 1. <br /> <br />Parks & Recreation Director Stahl reported <br />that on August 2, 1979 a meeting was <br />held between staff, Cemetery Board and <br />the representatives of Knights of Pythias <br />and Redmen. He reported that only the <br />staff and Cemetery Board were present to <br />discuss the rules and regulations. <br />Presentation included the rules and re- <br />gulations for the cemetery, lot sales, <br />and closing of certain streets in the <br />cemeterv. <br />After discussion Councilman Kilker moved <br />that the Parks & Rec. Directors request <br />regarding Cemetery Rules and Regulations, <br />street vacations and lot sales, be <br />approved. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl requested that the work session <br />scheduled for August 23, 1979, be re- <br />scheduled for August 16, 1979. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl revi.ewed correspondence. <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker moved that the City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br />
