Stated that he would appreciate the <br />opportunity to provide housing and was <br />deeply appreciative of the senior citizen <br />support shown on this annexation request. <br /> <br />3. Offered to answer any questions. <br /> <br />4. Thanked City for the great participation. <br />Felt everyone had opportunity to speak <br />their feelings on the proposed annexation. <br /> <br />2. Asked what had to be done to get an <br />election on the ordinance #637. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss responded that it was their <br />opinion that the referendum petition that <br />was submitted, although verified and having <br />the proper number of signatures, was not <br />presented at the proper that the state <br />statutes speak to. A petition for referendum <br />to be presented uter fi.nal action on the <br />ordinance. He felt that thev're \vell aware <br />that if an ordinance is pas~ed with an <br />emergency clause that strikes the possibility <br />of a referendum, and would only state that <br />emergency clauses are not that unusual, in <br />
