<br />January 16, 1979 <br />Minutes - page 13 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 623 <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Porter: Are you presently paying taxes <br />to the City of Louisville on this property. <br /> <br />Caranci: Well yes we pay it to the County. <br /> <br />Porter: I have no further questions. <br /> <br />Caranci: I thank you gentlemen and appre- <br />ciate what you can do for us. <br /> <br />Joss: Mr. Caranci, I believe I have a few <br />questions for you. <br /> <br />Mr. Caranci you have eluded to the fact that <br />in signing the annexation agreement, with <br />the City of Louisville that you agreed to <br />transfer water rights and also transfer <br />various pieces of property; have those <br />transfers actually taken place of this time? <br /> <br />Caranci: No they haven't. They are not <br />completed. Any time the City is ready to <br />complete it they are in the annexation. <br /> <br />Joss: But the title to that property is <br />not transferred. <br /> <br />Caranci: The City hasn't asked for it yet <br />we haven't given them, but I would imagine <br />under the annexation this is a matter of <br />formality now. It's a matter between Ron <br />and you. <br /> <br />Joss: Relative to the designated property <br />that I guess is outlined in the green there <br />on the map; you've indicated that that pro- <br />perty has been decided upon to be transferred <br />to the City. Now, is that something that <br />the City required or was that an agreement <br />that was reached between City staff and your <br />property owners as to a parcel that would <br />be best designated to the City or trans- <br />ferred to the City. <br /> <br />Caranci: This was agreed between the staff <br />in part and Aquarius. <br /> <br />Joss: And the Aquarius people had some in- <br />put into making that decision and it wasn't <br />just that the City said that we want that <br />property. <br />
