ORDINANCE NO. 623
PUBLIC HEARING
CONTINUED

January 16, 1979
Minutes - page 24

Porter: in the words that you described tonight,
insofar as your position tonight. Did you say
that to them?

Drumm: I don't believe so.

Porter: Another questions.
When was the zoning code amended to provide P.U.D.
for agriculturally zoned land.

Drumm: 1973 I believe.

Porter: Is that, is there some reason why that is
not in<:the 1976 zoning code?

Drumm: Oh excuse me, I think you are bringing up a
point, and your points well taken.
That, in the 1973 code the agricultural zoning, I
believe, was not allowed to be P.U.D. and that is
a problem we face yet today.

Porter: In other words, you can't have a P.U.D. in
the agricultural zone of the City of Louisville.

Drumm: You're right.

Porter: You can't cluster as you have indicated;
in fact there is one more limitation on the agricultural
zone that other zones aren't subject to and that is
that you can't have a P.D.D. in agricultural zone.

Drumm: You're right.

Porter: I'm unclear about this and maybe you can
clarify this for me. There was a recent request for
an expansion of one of the Storage Tech facilities,
is that not true?

Drumm: Yes.

Porter: I think maybe you can point it out to me better
then I can struggle through. That area which has the
diagonal, that's the present Storage Tech Center, is it
not.

Drumm: I think generally speaking yes.

Porter: And did they not expand further to the east
or have some either annexation request further to
the east.

Drumm: Yes they have. We have annexed them further
