A. Capital Request for the Cottonwood Parks Master Plan was submitted to Council in
September, we are waiting to hear the Council's determination. Re -submissions may be
provided in 2023 or 2024 if needed.
i. Project will not move forward substantially until the master plan is approved
ii. Cottonwood Park Master Plan is a subset of the Parks Master Plan as a whole
a. Parks Master Plan is slated for presentation in 2023; if the Cottonwood
Parks Maser Plan is not approved this year, the Parks Master Plan may
come under discussion before the Cottonwood Parks Master Plan.
b. Cottonwood Park/Lake Park corridor has a lot of potential
11. Fire Mitigation recovery update
A. Staff is working with Public Works and Utilities to get power back to areas to get
irrigation back up and running
B. There is still a lot of Xcel activity in the area; observationally more for residential use.
The irrigation use power comes from the street light electricity, so it is a question of
how high up on the list the street lights are. For example, the planting area at Dillon and
St. Andrews is in desperate need of irrigation, which cannot be put in until electricity is
restored.
C. Fence contractor is slated to start on Monday 10 October in the Davidson Mesa area;
project may last several weeks.
i. Owen asked about any additional efforts; Ellen commented that as of now fence
replacement is the only project (no benches or other additional amenities are
planned)
D. There are currently 47 residential build permits approved with approximately 80 in
process.
12. Agenda Items for Next Meeting
A. Continuation of Median discussion, presentation of median designs
B. Continuation of Subdivision Entry program
C. Bee City discussion, review of Council's decision.
D. New Meeting Times
E. Additional items as they arise, TBD when agenda is set for next meeting
13. Adjourn
A. Shelly motioned to Adjourn, John Second, meeting adjourned 8:36 pm.
