Information Item: Fall 2022 Programming - Leah goes through what help is needed <br />from the members that are volunteering for the below events. It is not required that LCC <br />members go to Arts Grants programming. Leah states that up until last week, there has been no <br />communication regarding when Arts Grants programs are scheduled, and emphasizes the need <br />to have an LCC presence at these events, but that we need to know when they are. <br />i. 9/17/22 (Friday) Motus Theater: Dinner, Community Conversation, and the <br />Constitution. (We made a correction note that the day is on Saturday, not Friday.) <br />ii. 9/23/22 (Friday) Opera Colorado: Arias & Ensembles <br />iii. 9/25/22 (Sunday) Boulder Opera: Puss in Boots/Gato con Botas <br />iv.10/14/22 (Friday) Silent Film (Trina) <br />v. 12/2/22 (Friday) Cultural Mixtape (Grace) <br />V1: Keely talks about a November 14th event that is being proposed by a <br />previous arts grant recipient. She is trying to get a spot for Ava Hamilton and Tiffany <br />Boyd Classrooms for Climate Action has been in communications with Ava about <br />bringing some school children to attend. <br />c. Community Park Summer Concert Update 15 min <br />a. Discussion Item: Review/Debrief on 2022 Summer Concerts <br />Leah adds that we need to have the rules and protocols for the park updated. <br />She described an event at the June 30th concert where a group had an <br />open -flame fire pit, and Leah & Lisa didn't know what to do as there was no staff <br />present at the park, and when the Parks Department employee arrived at the <br />park, he didn't know what to do. Erica suggests that in the 2023 May meeting we <br />have the Parks team come in and discuss what the rules are for public parks. JR <br />suggests that we have something added into our advertising that mentions these <br />rules to the public ahead of time. Trina also mentioned that we might need <br />someone with more authority there like the Parks team or the police to attend in <br />case we need to correct people. <br />i.
