She discusses the building being solar ready and more sustainable <br />lighting options. She would like two trees saved off McCaslin and asks what kind <br />of vegetation they will be using. <br />Cathern Smith, 608 West St <br />Smith discusses climate change and asks what we can do as a city to reduce <br />the momentum that is behind the climate change. She concludes with talking <br />about traffic and her concern of McCaslin. <br />Joshua Cooperman, 216 Griffith St <br />Cooperman mentions his outrage on how this proposal affects climate change. <br />There should be no further development on fossil fuel infrastructure. This <br />proposal is not re -using an existing building. This has no longer term economic <br />ability. He then reviews how this proposal does not meet municipal code. He <br />concludes with discussing the action he will take against the proposal if it is <br />recommended for approval to City Council. <br />Tiffany Boyd, 550 Grant Ave <br />Boyd says it seems that the applicant is apprehensive of installing an electric <br />charging station. She discusses the process of retrofitting and being proactive <br />with the climate crisis. She would like gas stations to be banned in Louisville. <br />Jojo Follmar, 1712 Steel St, Apt 1302 <br />Follmar says Louisville does not need this gas station. Electric vehicles are <br />becoming more prominent, especially in Boulder County. She hopes there will be <br />conditions to make the proposal more sustainable. <br />Closing Statement by Applicant: <br />Weeder says the specifications on new plant life being proposed meet the city <br />code. It is in the approved plant list item. The existing trees on McCaslin, there <br />are utilities that have to be re-routed for the detention pond. On the south side, to <br />
