Attorney Joss read the ordinance <br />on first reading by title only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance No <br />611 be ordered published and a public hear- <br />ing be set for September 19, 1978. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Resolution #27, Series <br />1978, proclaiming August 22, 1978 ad <br />Founders Day. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution <br />No. 27, Series 1978 be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Resolution #28, Series <br />1978, commending the steering committee <br />of the Centennial celebration. <br />Councilman Kilker moved that Resolution <br />#28, Series 1978, be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Drumm <br />stated that there our two annexations <br />requests in the making and reported <br />that both have a problem with aligning <br />the streets. <br />He stated that the annexation and zoning <br />proposals were approved by Planning <br />Commission with conditions tnat_the <br />street problems be resolved. <br />This would be for the Green Annexation <br />and Johnson Street correction and <br />3 Bar J Annexation and Continental View <br />Drive correction. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Drumm/City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />On the gas tanks, Mr. Wurl stated that he <br />would have a report at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo requested that some <br />information be obtained from Steinbaughs <br />as to their future plans where the old <br />store use to be, as the basement needs to <br />
