<br />February 21, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />BOND ISSUE CONTINUED <br /> <br />After discussion, Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the Mayor be authorized to sign the <br />General Obligation Bond for $300,000 with <br />Boettcher and Company. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Roll call. DelPizzo no, Meier yes, <br />Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, Kilker yes, <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he would <br />like to have a report how much money <br />will be coming in the next three:years <br />to pay on the issue. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />Steve Anderson reported that soon there <br />will be many papers on the loan and <br />contracts for construction to begin. <br />Mr. Anderson requested that the Council <br />give the Mayor permission to sign the <br />documents as they come up, pending the <br />approval of the City Attorney and City <br />Administrator. <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the Mayor <br />be authorized to sign the documents, sub- <br />ject to approval by the City Attorney and <br />City Administrator. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. <br />Attorney Joss stated that he has reviewed <br />the initial contract and stated that there <br />will be much time involved saved if Coun- <br />cil allows the Mayor to sign. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />CHERRY VALE MEETING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that he will be <br />attending the County meeting pertaining <br />to the Cherry Vale Fire Dept. request <br />to become a district. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 11583 <br />LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that this ordinance <br />pertains to the Police Vehicles. Each <br />member of Council had before them a copy <br />of the ordinance for their review and <br />files. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />#583 be ordered published. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />FANTASYLAND DAY CARE <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the owner is <br />requesting that Council reconsider the <br />stipulation, that children must be picked <br />up and brought to the back door of the <br />school. <br />
