LCityof <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />• Slow the Flow sprinkler assessments and Rachio smart controller installations will start to be <br />advertised in late May/early June. New this year, Louisville businesses can participate in the <br />Slow the Flow program — spread the word! <br />Commercial Lawn Equipment Electrification <br />• The City of Boulder City Council is hosting a study session about commercial lawn equipment <br />electrification policy on April 27. The meeting will be recorded and available online after the <br />meeting. <br />• Rebates for commercial lawn equipment electrification are available to businesses that are <br />located within Boulder County. More information can be found here. <br />• Boulder County is hosting a series of landscaper trainings for companies that operate within <br />Boulder County to educate company staff about how to properly use and charge electric <br />equipment. <br />Sustainability Programs <br />• The Green Business Program application will be open May 1— September 30. <br />• The E-bike Rebate application is open now through May 5, 2023. <br />Events <br />• The virtual Sustainability Film Series will be hosted by Louisville, Lafayette, Superior and <br />Broomfield and will be held April —July 2023 on the third Thursday of each month. Louisville's <br />film is Ice on Fire and will be held on Thursday, May 18 on Zoom and Boulder County Senior <br />Sustainability Strategist Tim Broderick will be available for a post -film discussion. <br />• The Spring Cleaning Event will be held at Ascent Church on Saturday, April 29 from 9a-12p. <br />o Volunteer sign up here - https://bit.IV/2023SpringCleaningVolunteering <br />o Resident registration is full. <br />• Since fall 2022, a contest has been held for Boulder Valley School District high schools and <br />environmental educators in Boulder County to advance an educational approach that explicitly <br />connects environmental understanding with ALL Careers. Students will be recognized for their <br />efforts/projects on Monday, May 1, 5:30 — 7:00 p.m. <br />o Is an LSAB member able to attend and support the students at this event? <br />• The City's Summer Carnival is Wed., June 14 from 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m. This event is <br />promoted to families and usually sees 700+ attendees. <br />o Does LSAB want to table at this event? <br />2 <br />
