A picture of this house from around this time can be seen on the following postcard of <br />Louisville that was mailed in 1909, so it would presumably date from the period of a few <br />years before 1909. The postcard shows Louisville's amenities and draws for new <br />residents, consisting of images of, from top right and going clockwise: the Louisville <br />Grade School; the St. Louis Catholic School; the Rex Mine; the business district shown on <br />Main Street; and, last, houses on a residential street, represented by a view of the west <br />side of the 1000 block of Jefferson Avenue. <br />The following shows a close up of the postcard. It shows a colorized photo of the west <br />side of the west side of the 1000 block of Jefferson, with 1033 Jefferson visible as the <br />fourth house in from the left: <br />3 <br />
