<br />September 6, 1977 <br />Page 3 - Minutes <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #568 <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />After comments, Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that Ordinance #568 be adopted. <br />as amended deleting any.notation of <br />Ord. #562 within it. Seconded by <br />Councilman Dhieux. Roll call. Dhieux <br />yes, DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo <br />yes, DiLorenzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #569 <br />SERVICE EXPANSION FEE <br />SECOND READING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that an amendment <br />has been included with the ordinance; <br />he then read the ordinance on second <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he felt <br />the increase will cause a delay in <br />the building process within the City <br />with developers. Mr. wurl stated that <br />he has talked with developers and they <br />are not that opposed to the increase <br />or they would have attended the meeting <br />to protest. <br />After comments Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Ordinance #569 be adopted as amended. <br />Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />Roll call. DelPizzo no;, Dhieux yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />With no more to report Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved tha the City Attorney's <br />report be accepted and placed on file. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />INDUSTRIAL LAND <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that the final <br />appraisal has come in on the City <br />property located in the industrial <br />park. It is just under I acre and the <br />appraisal came in at $26,000. He stated <br />that he has several interested parties <br />Golden Concrete is interested in pur- <br />chasing the property along with two <br />other companies. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he was <br />not in favor of having Golden Concrete <br />purchase the land, he felt that the <br />land should be kept for use as a ball <br />field or during the fall festival, or <br />have the land traded for better property. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the money could <br />be set aside for the purchase of some <br />land. <br />
