<br />Minutes - page 7 <br />July 19, 1977 <br /> <br />PIERCE CONTINUED <br /> <br />dismissal from Mr. Pierce as relates to the <br />court case. <br /> <br />BUDGET CALENDAR <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed the budget calendar and <br />stated that before the budgets can be <br />completed there needs to be some discussion <br />regarding the cost of living percentage. <br />Council scheduled a work session for July <br />25, 1977 to discuss the budget. <br /> <br />LIBRARY LETTER <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the letter from the library <br />informing council of the resignation of <br />Carolyn Conarroe as head librarian and <br />replacing her by Mrs. Larella Stour. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that council send <br />a letter to Mrs. Conarroe thanking her for <br />her work and dedication. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ELECTION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that the City Clerk <br />had the option of going paper ballot or <br />Data Vote for the City election, with the <br />decision made to go with data vote at <br />the estimated cost of $365.00 for the <br />election. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN MC DONALD <br />RESIGNATION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the letter from Councilman <br />McDonald on her resignation as councilman <br />from Ward II as she has moved from her ward. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the Esignation <br />be accepted and a citation be made to her <br />for her contributions while on council. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the <br />vacancy be advertised for until July 29,1977, <br />and the decision be made on August 2, at <br />the regular council meeting. Seconded by <br />Councilman Caranci. <br />Attorney Joss informed council that it is <br />not necessary to publicize the opening; <br />however, it was up to council as to the way <br />they would like to go. <br />After discussion question was called for <br />and the motion carried. <br />Mr. Wurl also read a letter from Vivian <br />Dhieux stating her interest to serve on <br />Council under McDonald's council seat. <br /> <br />CAT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that a cat <br />ordinance be drafted and brought before <br />Council at the August meeting. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. <br />
