<br />March 15, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 4 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #535 <br />UNIFORM BUILDING CODE <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a <br />copy of Ordinance #535. Attorney Joss <br />read Ordinance #535 on first reading by <br />title only. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />#535 be ordered published twice before <br />brought up on second reading, and the <br />public hearing be scheduled for the first <br />meeting in May. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. All in favor - motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #536 <br />UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE <br /> <br />All member of Council had before them a <br />copy of Ordiannce #536. Attorney Joss <br />read the Ordinance on first by title <br />only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />#536 be ordered published twice before <br />brought up on second reading and public <br />hearing be scheduled for the first meeting <br />in May. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #537 <br />ZONING FOR MASSAGE <br />PARLORS <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a <br />copy of Ordinance #537 for review and <br />file. <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance #537 by title <br />only. <br />It was agreed that the title state Massage <br />Parlors and or Massage Establishments. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that Ordinance <br />#537 be ordered published as amended. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call <br />vote: Caranci yes, McDonald yes, Domenico <br />yes, DiCarlo no, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DENVER PORNOGRAPHY <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance <br />has already been declared unconstitutional <br />by a District Court in the City and County <br />of Denver. <br />Attorney Joss stated that he did not know <br />whether it would be necessary to have a <br />City ordinance as the State law is since <br />the Police Department could write summons <br />to the County Court should the law be <br />violated. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that the City Attorney be authorized to <br />draft an ordinance pertaining to pornography <br />following the State Statutes and also pursue <br />the possiblity of a zoning ordinance re- <br />quirement. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />
