MUNICIPAL LEAGUE <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />HOWARD DITCH WATER <br />SHARES <br /> <br />RESCHEDULE OF COUNCIL <br />MEETING <br /> <br />WOOD BROS. <br />DRAINAGE REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Attorneys report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman McDonald <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it was the request of <br />the CML to have cities send letters to <br />their newspapers on their support and op- <br />position of the amendments. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that what was needed was <br />councils authorization to proceed with the <br />letters. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrator be authorized to send letters <br />to the local newspaper stating Councils <br />support and opposition of the amendments <br />acted upon. Seconded by Councilman <br />McDonald. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he needs Councils <br />authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk <br />to sign the sales agreement for the pur- <br />chase of 1/4 shares of Howard Ditch Water <br />from Rollie Addison in the amount of <br />$3,750. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the Mayor <br />and City Clerk be authorized to sign the <br />water sales agreement for 1/4 shares of <br />Howard Ditch Water from Rollie Addison in <br />the amount of $3,750. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman McDonald. Roll call on motion. <br />Caranci yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />The money will come out of the Water Bond <br />Fund. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the next Council <br />meeting is on the night of the election and <br />suggested that it be rescheduled for <br />November 6, 1976, Thursday. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the next <br />Council meeting be scheduled for November <br />4, 1976. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he spoke with the <br />Wood Bros. representatives and have come <br />up with a possible solution to the drain- <br />age problem. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he has visited with <br />Mr. Patete who stated that he would accept <br />the offer, the Parks Dept. felt there would <br /> <br />-7- <br />
