WOOD BROS. CONTID After discussion a work session was scheduled for September 28, 1976, at 7:30 P.M. between City Council and staff, pro- perty owners of the two lots and Wood Bros. representatives to try and come to some sort of agreement. DOUBLE FRONTAGE LOTS Mr. Wurl stated that he would like the property owners to receive copies of the appraisals, but he would check with Attorney Morris before they are sent. After discussion, Councilman DelPizzo moved that the final plat and development plan be approved excluding the condem- nation of the privately owned lots. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Heiter informed Council that he thinks Wood Bros. has found a solution on the double frontage lots. He stated that they plan on building their show homes in those lots and do the the landscaping there. Mr. Wurl stated that the City was seeking Councils approval on pay estimate #4 and to advertise for final payment on October 5, 1976. He stated that "there were some trees to be replaced and some striping to be done. The amount of the retainage fee is in the excess of $4,000 reported by Engineer White. The payment would be in the amoun of $1,166.40. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council authorize payment #4 in the amount of $1,166.40 to Varra Enterprises and to advertise for final payment on October 5, 1976. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that Lafayette Mayor designated three Council persons and the City Manager to meet with the designated persons from Louisville to discuss the different options relating to the pro- posal to develop joint water facilities which would be the first stage of the Coal Creek project.
