COLO. TECH. CENTER
CONT'D

answer any questions that anyone might have.
I have copies of the logs here, and will pro-
vide them to anyone who wishes them.

MAYOR WASCHAK

Does anyone have questions of Dr. Robinson
at this time? Are there any people from the
LUC that wish to speak at this time in
regards to Dr. Robinson's presentation?

MAYOR WASCHAK

Yes, I am William Pat Rogers, Engineering
Geologist with the Colorado Geological Survey.
I have appeared before this group 2 or 3 times
before. I think you probably have a little
bit of an idea of what my general philosophy
has been on the problem of developing under-
mined areas. I can see that Dr. Robinson
has done an awful lot of work which is com-
pletely new to me as it is to you people to-
night. As far as any detailed evaluation
of it, obviously I can't, you know with a
short presentation like this, I wouldn't
presume to make any kind of a determination
in my own mind. So, I would have to reserve
judgement until I have had time to study
the text and the whole thing that Dr. Robinson
and Judy Culver have gone through. That is
essentially what I can say at this time.

Are there any other persons from the LUC who
wish to ask questions or have any comments?

Are there any persons in the audience who
wish to speak?
Does Council have any comments or questions?

WILLIAM PAT ROGERS

COUNCILMAN DI CARLO

I don't want to delay it, all I'm saying is
first of all; I want to ask a question and
get something straight in my mind. Isthe
State in any way using the Amuedo & Ivey
report as their guide?

PAT ROGERS

It is based on the report, at least in part
we use it as a basis as Dr. Robinson has
used. Sources that he has indicated that
he used here are essentially the same sources
that they have used except for the new work
that he has done subsequent to the photographic
work and drill holes. It isn't a totally
different thing like the other side of the
moon.

-13-
