<br />COUNCIL ITEMS CONTID <br />PAY ESTIMATE #1 <br />VARRA ENTERPRISES <br />CITY PARKING LOTS <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN - PARKWOOD FILING #2 <br /> <br />BOULDER COUNTY LEGAL <br />SERVICE REQUEST <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it was the re- <br />commendation of the City Engineer that <br />Estimate #1 be paid to Varra Enterprises, <br />less 10% retainage,for work already done <br />on the City parking lots, leaving a <br />payment of $12,341.25. Councilman Caranci <br />moved that Estimate #1 in the amount of <br />$12,341.25 be made to Varra Enterprises <br />for work done on the City parking lots. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll <br />call on motion. Domenico yes, Caranci <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald <br />yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A copy of the plan was given to Council. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the action requested <br />is for Council to refer the plan to the <br />Planning Commission for their recommen- <br />dation. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the Council <br />send the preliminary development plan _ <br />Parkwood Filing #2 to Planning Commission <br />for their recommendation. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. <br />Councilman DiCarlo requested that any Coun- <br />cilman who will not be attending the <br />Planning meeting, write their remarks or <br />questions down and submit them to a <br />member of Planning Commission. <br />Councilman Caranci asked what procedure <br />will be followed on the plan. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the plan will be <br />brought to the Planning Commission for a <br />preliminary review, then a preliminary <br />review at Council level, both which will <br />be advertised. The plans will then be <br />submitted to the Planning Commission and <br />Council for final review. <br />With no more comments Council approved the <br />motion to send the plan to Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Council was given a copy of the letter and <br />request made by the Boulder County Legal <br />Services. <br />Mr. Wurl pointed out that there had been <br />no money budgeted for the request and that <br />no certain amount was requested. Council <br />stated that they would like to have more <br />information on the program and what type <br />of services the citizens of the City will <br />be getting if any. <br />Bruce Joss, attorney, stated that it was <br />his understanding that the service is <br /> <br />-2- <br />
