DiLorenzo yes. Caranci no. <br />DiCarlo yes. McDonald yes. DelPizzo no. <br />Tie vote. Mayor Waschak voted yes to <br />carry the adoption of Resolution #5. <br /> <br />WOOD BROTRERS PLAN <br /> <br />Mr. Sam Reiter representing Wood Bros. <br />reviewed a proposed change of Tract as <br />informally planned. Re stated that they <br />'would like Councils remarks on the plan. <br />:Mr. Reiter stated the development which <br />was approved by Council for "zipper lots" <br />previously have shown drainage problems <br />which put the feasibility of this type of <br />home in question on the land it was platted <br />on. <br />Mr. Reiter along with Mr. Rans Skalan pre- <br />sented maps of the proposed changes stating <br />that the new preliminary plans would have <br />less denSity then the previous plan. The <br />homes would be the same as what has been <br />built in the subdivision only with a one <br />or two car garage option. <br />Mr. Reiter stated that at present Rarney's <br />Pond is used partially for a retainage <br />detention pond. Wood Bros. has been <br />8tudying the drainage problem a have <br />planned a major change in the drainage sit- <br />uation by making the pond in a park area <br />'tITith detention capabilities or making it <br />a wet shallow lake with detention capabilities. <br />He stated that Wood Bros. feels the lake <br />should be enlarged about four times for <br />storm drainage detention. Mr. Reiter stated <br />that there will be a substantial amount of <br />funding to correct the problem and the <br />costs will have to go against the filings; <br />therefore Wood Bros. would like to go the <br />most conventional route to resolve the <br />problem. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked what type of <br />drainage Wood Bros. was planning to use. <br />Mr. Reiter stated that Wood Bros. proposes <br />to keep the water traveling through the <br />school property. however; they plan to make <br />is so less water travels through at any <br />given time. <br />Councilman DelPizzo questioned how big Wood <br />Bros. planned on making the pond. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
