WOOD BROS. CONT'D :Mr. Heiter stated that the size of the pond is yet to be determined pending discussion 'wi th Ci ty staff. Councilman DelPizzo asked who was to main- tain the Goodhue Ditch which runs through the subdivision. Also if it would be possible to get some type of fence put on the sides of the sidewalk where the ditch erosses under it. ]~r. Heiter stated that he could not see any problems with having a fence put up. He also stated that the land was to be dedicated to the City and at that time it will be the City's responsiblity to maintain the ditch. After the presentation Council stated that basically they approved of the proposed plans. ALMEGA PROPERTY Hr. Conarroe asked what the status was on the property which was sold by the City and was to be developed by the purchaser for pharmaceutical supplies. He stated that recently 'for sale"signs have gone up on the property. ~1r. Wurl stated that he has called Mr. Pierce, but has not been able to talk with him; but he thought there was a financial problem. He stated that he will keep checking. ~tt. Conarroe stated that he felt some type of clause should be put in sales contracts to help control situations such as this. He also stated that citizens feel that the property should be put up for bid before negotiated on with outside firms. ~~ry Shipton asked if something could be done to get RTD buses into the City. She stated that the buses run in Lafayette and pass Louisville, but can not stop in the City to pick up our citizens. ~~. Wurl stated that the City is subject to paying the RTD tax until 1984; and put in a.pproximately $25,000 per year. Therefore, if the City did drop out of the system w'e would still be obligated to pay the tax. M~. Wurl stated that the new manager of RTD has visited with him in regards to possible facilities, but nothing has been set up as of yet.
