About one - <br />tenth live in townhouses, rowhouses, or duplexes, while another tenth of the employees live in other <br />accommodations (mobile homes, crashing with friends or relatives, etc.). A still smaller number <br />reported living in apartment buildings, and 2 percent of the sample lived in an apartment within a <br />single family home. <br />The single family home, often cited as the American and the suburban dream, is still the <br />model for Louisville employees. The average number of bedrooms is slightly more than three per <br />dwelling unit. An average of slightly less than three residents live in each dwelling.
