<br />CONSORTIUM REPORT cont1d <br /> <br />She also stated that the Denver Metro- <br />politan Water District Bill was dis- <br />cussed. She stated that the County <br />Commissioners asked that municipalities <br />respond to the bill as it will definately <br />be on the governors call for the next <br />legislature. This bill speaks to raw <br />water supply. Some objections to this <br />bill was that there would be a seven <br />member board without a representative <br />from Boulder County. Councilwoman <br />Dhieux stated that there was an objection <br />because of the growth factor in the south <br />east portion of the state. She stated <br />that Joe Madonna objected to an article <br />in the review on growth. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that Louisville <br />was included on a map on the Monumental <br />Water Project. She recommended that <br />the City have legal representation at <br />the publice hearing. Councilwoman Dhieux <br />stated that she feels that the City <br />should respond favorably in the Water <br />District Project as it is compatable <br />to the Coal Creek project and Mr. Madonna <br />concurred. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he felt every <br />possible option should be looked into <br />for benefiting the City. With no more <br />discussion Councilman Berry moved that <br />the Committee reports be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />DOMENICO - E. & F. <br />INDUSTRIES <br /> <br />Mr. Alex Domenico and Mrs. Domenico <br />stated that E & F Industries were blasting <br />again and their home is being shook <br />tremendously. Mr. Domenico gave a <br />documentation of blasting dates which <br />he had kept. Mrs. Domenico stated that <br />the house shook so bad that it was im- <br />possible to stay in it. Mr. Domenico <br />stated that at the last fire they have <br />there the fire department did not <br />respond with alarms. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that Fire Chief <br />Elrod had met with E & F and asked them <br />to take safety precautions. <br />Councilman Domenico stated that if E & F <br />are still blasting they should be told <br />to stop or asked to remove their business <br />from the City as he felt they were not <br /> <br />-8- <br />
