<br />-3- <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & REPORTS cont'd <br /> <br />L.H.A. cont'd <br /> <br />clarifying the paragraph in the minutes <br />of the last L.H.A. meeting. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiCarlo. This will be <br />regarding land purchase. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SCHOOL PROJECT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl asked Mr. Anderson what the <br />project was regarding the Housing Code. <br />Mr. Anderson explained to Mr. Wurl that <br />they were checking with other communities <br />to see if they had a similar program on <br />housing. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked what was being <br />done with the Moffitt property. Mayor <br />Waschak stated that he had spoken with <br />Mrs. Moffitt and that Fleming Construction <br />would be tearing down the plumbing shop <br />but the home belonged to Gert Moffitt <br />so nothing could be done yet about the <br />house. Mayor Waschak stated that he <br />was going to get with the Building <br />Inspector, Engineer, and City Administrator <br />and talk with Mrs. Moffitt. Dennis <br />Lundberg stated that he spoke with Mrs. <br />Moffitt in regards to restoration and <br />it was up to Council if they would <br />like to hold up and wait to see if funds <br />could be got to restore the building. <br />He stated that it was not very feasible. <br />After discussion Councilman Domenico <br />moved that the permit be kept as is and <br />continue with the tearing down of the <br />building. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he was contacted <br />by a teacher at the Middle School in <br />regards to having the 8th grade boys <br />do a project for the City <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that there was a <br />large amount of blow dirt in the ceme- <br />tery on the south west side which should <br />be cleaned up. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />the City is aware of the problem and the <br />crew will be up there to clean up the <br />dirt. The Council decided to view the <br />situation and with a staff recommendation <br />on the project discuss the matter at the <br />next Council meeting. <br /> <br />MOFFITT PROPERTY <br /> <br />CEMETERY <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak informed Council that <br />finances are stable however, funds are <br />getting low and he would like to have <br />Councils input at the next meeting <br />
