COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPNENT <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City <br />Attorney be authorized to write a letter <br />to the State Senators, Congressmen, <br />Postmaster General, Regional Postmaster, <br />and City Postmistress stating the ob- <br />jection of curb delivery. Seconded by <br />Councilwoman Scholl. After comments in <br />reference to having the City Attorney <br />write the letter, Councilwoman Scholl <br />withdrew her second and the motion died. <br />Councilman Berry then moved that the <br />City Administrator be authorized to write <br />the letter to the people stated in Coun- <br />cilman DelPizzos motion stating the ob- <br />jection to curb delivery. Seconded by <br />Councilwoman Dhieux. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe stated his concern to Coun- <br />cil how they so quickly pass renewals <br />for liquor licenses. It was suggested <br />that a report from the Police be filed <br />with each application and reviewed be- <br />fore renewal of any more licenses are <br />issued. Mr. Wurl stated that one matter <br />which should be understood by the tavern <br />owners is that if the bar does call the <br />police do to a disturbance it will not <br />be held against the, but give the City <br />better knowledge as to the character of <br />the establishment. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Mr. Ferrera and his <br />attorney that the matter is more detailed <br />then expected and it is being surveyed. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council there will be <br />a meeting November 26, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. <br />to discuss the franchise with Public <br />Service. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that Mr.Vranesh <br />will meet with them to discuss their <br />comments. He will be requested to <br />meet with Council at 6:45 P.M. on <br />December 10, 1974 before the regular Coal <br />Creek meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he met with Longmont <br />and got a rough draft of their resolution <br />A meeting was set up to discuss the <br />matter on Friday, November 22, 1974. <br />
