Mr. Wurl stated again <br />that the Attorney is checking on the <br />Ordinances. <br /> <br />CITY AD~INISTRATOR REPORT <br />CITY HALL REMODELING <br /> <br />Mr. Reinholdt asked if the City would <br />place a 5-minute loading or parking <br />sign placed by their store as they <br />sell large quanities of alcoholic <br />beverages and at time the merchandise <br />has to be carried several blocks be- <br />cause of no parking space. He stated <br />that the back enterance of the store <br />is very difficult to get to. <br />It was stated that the matter should <br />be decided by the traffice department. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Council <br />approve the sign for A & B Liquors. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll <br />call on motion. Domenico yes, Berry <br />no, Scholl no, Dhieux no, DelPizzo <br />yes, DiCarlo yes. Tie vote. After <br />more discussion Mayor Waschak called <br />a roll call vote for the same motion. <br />Domenico yes, Berry no, Scholl no, <br />Dheiux no, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Tie vote. <br />Mayor Waschak informed Council that <br />A & B Liquors did have a sign up for <br />several days and because of repercussion <br />from several surrounding businesses he <br />asked them to take the sign down, <br />which they did. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that she felt <br />the request was valid however, she did <br />not feel Council should make the decision. <br />A third roll call vote was taken on <br />the motion. Domenico yes, Berry no, <br />Scholl no, Dhieux no, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo no. Motion defeated. Mr. <br />Reinholdt was to speak with Chief Munger <br />regarding the matter. <br /> <br />A & B LIQUOR REQUEST <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a memo from the City <br />Engineer stating that there has been <br />criticism in the way bids were applied <br />for and he felt that notification <br />should be made formally for bids for <br />the remodeling of City Hall.
