Councilman Domenico stated that <br />he would be willing to resign on approval <br />of Council, however, he would still be <br />present at the meetings but have no <br />voting power. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that an ad- <br />journed meeting be scheduled for April <br />23, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. to disouss LHA. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Gans stated that LHA was working on <br />getting ready to place 4 housing units <br />on land at Roosevelt, Hutchinson, and <br />LaFarge. The fund will be through FHA <br />in the amount of 60 to 80 thousand dollars. <br />The loan will go through LCDC, a legal <br />agency. <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Cordova presented Council with a brief <br />outline and talk as to the purpose of <br />the Task Force. He stated that it was <br />started to help youth get a better start <br />in life. <br />Councilwoman Scholl asked if there would <br />need to be a monetary committment from <br />Louisville to deal with our communities <br />problems. There were no committments made. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked for Councils <br />approval to resign from LURA, as he felt <br />that he could not devote enough time to <br />really do a good job on the Board. Mayor <br />Waschak accepted Councilman DelPizzos re- <br />signation and asked Mr. Conarroe to pub- <br />lish the vacancy in the paper. <br /> <br />A question was brought up as to why the <br />code enforcement officer must be the one <br />to issue a summons when a code is broken. <br />The matter will be reported on at the <br />Police Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the gates <br />at the Cemetery were not being closed at <br />night. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo also questioned if <br />anything had been done on the sidewalk and <br />curb situation. Mr. Wurl stated that the <br />matter was being worked on. <br />
