COMMUNITY HALL: Keith stated he had called for an inspection on Community Hall, it cannot be used at present but will be available in one week. HOUSING AUTHORI'fY: Dennis Lundberg requested that Mrs. Virgil Donovan be appointed as temporary chair- woman of Housing Authorit;y" Board. Mayor Caranci made the aopointment. BUILDING INSPECTOR: Mr. Wurl requested permission to have Lafayette's inspector on a part-time basis. 'fhis would be on an hourly basis, with office. in the Urban Renewal Bldg. 801 Jefferson St. at $50.00 per month. Donovan: Building inspector mandatory, and if they fail to acquire permit be- fore starting should be charged double. Motion by funovan, seconded by King to hire inspector as recommeded by Mr. Wurl. JUNK C A.RS AND TRASH: Ci ty Administrator reported that an Ordinance is being prepared in regard to junk cars. Further study will be made in regard to trash pick-up. Study to be made requiring all residences to use a trash pick up on regular basis. Mr. Wurl stated this would be an imposition on 0' der people. Obtain bids on job - exclude penSioners, get information. SANDER: Councilmen instructed Mr. lrlurl to pruchase sanding attachment for #792. SLEIGHING: In regards to children sle:Lgh:lng on hill. Mr. Wurl said he would see that barricades are put up each snow storm. FIRE TRUCK: Mr. Wurl stated he had not re(~eived lease bid from Mac Truck. WATER TAP FEES: Tap fee raised to $6,900 per tap for I" tap, $1,500 for two inch tap, sewer tap $605 per tap. Fee per point schedule outside users. Motion by King, seconded by Donovan that an amendment be made to the war..er ordinance accepting these changes. Motion carried to amend ordinance to include emergency clause. Motion by Maxwell for the City not to proceed on emergency clause. No second. Motion by King, seconded b;y' Donovan to write ammendment with emergency clause.
