Roll call <br />vote King yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Maxwell yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY HALL: <br />Keith stated he had called for an inspection on Community Hall, it cannot <br />be used at present but will be available in one week. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORI'fY: <br />Dennis Lundberg requested that Mrs. Virgil Donovan be appointed as temporary chair- <br />woman of Housing Authorit;y" Board. Mayor Caranci made the aopointment. <br /> <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR: <br />Mr. Wurl requested permission to have Lafayette's inspector on a part-time <br />basis. 'fhis would be on an hourly basis, with office. in the Urban Renewal Bldg. <br />801 Jefferson St. at $50.00 per month. <br />Donovan: Building inspector mandatory, and if they fail to acquire permit be- <br />fore starting should be charged double. Motion by funovan, seconded by King <br />to hire inspector as recommeded by Mr. Wurl. Motion by Maxwell, seconded by <br />Donovan to ~ave office spac.e, a,t Urban Renewal Bldg. Motion carried _ objected <br />by Jensen. <'P.d/'(,", j,',('("",,(., ,I.: <br />1 I j <br />CITY ENGINEER: <br />Motion by King, seconded b:Y' Donovan to hire Engineer by January 1, 1973 if feasible. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />JUNK C A.RS AND TRASH: <br />Ci ty Administrator reported that an Ordinance is being prepared in regard to junk <br />cars. Further study will be made in regard to trash pick-up. Study to be made <br />requiring all residences to use a trash pick up on regular basis. Mr. Wurl stated <br />this would be an imposition on 0' der people. Obtain bids on job - exclude <br />penSioners, get information. <br /> <br />SANDER: <br />Councilmen instructed Mr. lrlurl to pruchase sanding attachment for #792. <br /> <br />SLEIGHING: <br />In regards to children sle:Lgh:lng on hill. Mr. Wurl said he would see that <br />barricades are put up each snow storm. <br /> <br />FIRE TRUCK: <br />Mr. Wurl stated he had not re(~eived lease bid from Mac Truck. <br /> <br />WATER TAP FEES: <br />Tap fee raised to $6,900 per tap for I" tap, $1,500 for two inch tap, sewer tap <br />$605 per tap. Fee per point schedule outside users. Motion by King, seconded by <br />Donovan that an amendment be made to the war..er ordinance accepting these changes. <br />Motion carried to amend ordinance to include emergency clause. Motion by Maxwell <br />for the City not to proceed on emergency clause. No second. <br />Motion by King, seconded b;y' Donovan to write ammendment with emergency clause. <br />
