Memo

From:

Mayor and City Council
William Simmons

To:

Date:
Re:

3/1/02

Town of Superior Letter Regarding Recreational Services

Please review the attached letter from the Town Of Superior just received today. The
letter requests the City of Louisville consider joint recreation programming serving both
communities. Along those lines, the Town requests that Louisville consider redefining
the current scope of the needs assessment for recreational services in Louisville to
include a component that would assess the recreational needs of both communities.

A member of the Superior Town Board of Trustees may attend the March 5, 2002
regular Council meeting to speak to this issue under "Public Comments on Items Not
on the Agenda" or the Board may request to discuss further at a study session,
possibly on March 12. More specific information will be available at the March 5, 2002
regular City Council meeting.
