To continue building trust between the Parish and neighbors, the following decisions are proposed:
. St. Louis Parish will establish a volunteer liaison for neighbors. The Parish liaison
will facilitate issues and intercommunication between the Parish and neighbors.
The Parish requests that the neighbors identify a neighborhood liaison to facilitate
communication between the Parish and neighbors on issues of concern to more than
one neighbor.
The neighborhood liaison will be given a telephone number for the St. Louis Parish
liaison to disseminate to interested neighbors. Any issues or concerns of the
neighbors are to be communicated to the liaison either by telephone, in person, or in
writing. The liaison will personally reply to the neighbors' issues/concerns within
two business days with information regarding issue resolution. The liaison will
maintain a log to track neighbor concerns/issues and their resolutions. Depending on
the issue/concern, the liaison may need to contact the Parish office, school office
and/or the Building and Maintenance Committee for possible resolutions. The St.
Louis Pastor or his designee has final decision-making authority for the ~arish.
All City Code violations are to be communicated to the proper City department as
they occur.
Emergency situations are to be communicated immediately to the appropriate
organization, e.g., police, fire, or ambulance.
The neighbor liaison group will attend bi-monthly meetings for one year to continue
dialog and resolution of existing issues.

.

.

.

.

.

Davidson called for public comments.

Norm Mossoni, 841 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, stated that he feels these issues stem
from a handful of neighbors and not the entire neighborhood. He was never contacted by either group
for his opinion on the subjects being discussed. He questioned why the recall ever occurred. He feels
the conditions on the original PUD have been met and that the recall is the direct result of St. Louis
School requesting to operate a middle school. He questioned the connection of a trash dumpster and
air conditioner noise to the operation of a middle school. He did not believe that adding thirty
students to the school's enrollment created an increase in traffic. He encouraged Council to look at
the truth in this issue and deal with facts. He felt it was unreasonable to expect Father Don to enforce
traffic laws in front of the school beeause that's the responsibility of the police department.

Alicia Burrous, 924 Grant Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, stated that she is speaking on behalf of the
neighborhood portion of the Parish/neighborhood committee. She expressed support for the staff
recommendations approved by the Planning Commission at their last meeting. She stated that the
neighborhood feels comfortable that parking and traffic problems will be addressed and corrected
with the resolutions presented before Council tonight. She thanked Chief Goodman for his
department's assistance in verifying that traffic problems do exist, recommending solutions, and for
his commitment to enhance enforcement in the neighborhood. She thanked Paul Wood and the
Planning Department staff for their thoughtful analysis of specific impacts on the neighborhood as
well as recommendations regarding parking. She thanked the Parish portion of the joint committee

6
