SIMMONS <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />DATE: May 20, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: Authorization to Advertise for Bid for the WWTP Office Building <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: Public Works <br />SUMMARY: <br />The Public Works Department is requested authorization to advertise for bids for the wastewater treatment plant <br />building. This item is a 1997 CIP with an estimated construction cost of $80,000. The building has been <br />designed by local architect Peter Stewart. It is a 24' x 40' building and has a brick exterior finish. <br />Once bids are received an award recommendation will be presented to the Council for approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorization to obtain bids for the wastewater treatment plant building. <br />SUBJECT <br />Authorization to Advertise for Bid <br />for the WWTP Office Building <br />AGENDA ITEM <br />
