Staff Report of Facts and Issues: McCartney summarized with the following points: The ordinance has been edited to reflect the requested changes from the  previous meeting by the Commissioners. The ordinance has also been reviewed by the City Attorney.  McCartney suggested discussion by the Commissioners to review the ordinance for additional changes. Russell, Hartman, Loo and Pritchard stated they had no questions or changes at this time. Lipton had questions about the Property-Owner vs. Beekeeper. Does it mean that the property-owner can lease his backyard to a beekeeper? He also questioned the license requirement and the notification process. NOTE: Tengler arrived at 7:35 PM Russell stated the 500’ notice requirements seems excessive. He proposed a 30- day sign on the property. Pritchard recommended a 100’ notice requirement. Hartman and Loo agreed that posting the property makes sense.
