<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 2009 <br />Page 6 of 10 <br />Loo stated she felt the majority of the Commissioners were satisfied with the <br />design but not with the massing of the building. She stated she thought the <br />landscape was already rather extensive. <br />Pritchard suggested leaving Building 2 as one large building but re-designing <br />Building 1 into more than one structure. <br />The applicant requested permission to address the concerns discussed by the <br />Commissioners. Lipton re-opened the public hearing. <br />Carey Levy, Passco Colorado Tech Industrial, LLC 96 Corporate Park, Suite 200, <br />Irvine, CA, addressed the following: <br />Marketability is a major concern. <br /> <br /> <br />Buildings have been reduced by 20% or approximately 8,200 SF from <br /> <br /> <br />the original plan presented to the City Staff. <br />We are not convinced that the area/ site is suited for true retail. <br /> <br /> <br />Something that might work would be businesses such as design <br />centers. <br />We would consider breaking up Building 1, including more employee <br /> <br /> <br />break area and additional landscaping. <br />Levy requested a continuance to the October 8, 2009 Planning Commission <br />hearing. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Lipton moved and Sheets seconded a motion to continue Resolution No. 09, <br />Series 2009 to the October 8, 2009 public hearing. <br /> <br />Name Vote <br />Jeff Lipton Yes <br />Chris Pritchard Yes <br />Susan S.
