Public Hearing Closed Commission Comments: Lipton moved and Loo seconded a motion to permit a medical marijuana dispensary in the PCZD zone districts through special review use (SRU) and to forward a recommendation to City Council to amend certain sections of Title 17 regarding the dispensing of Medical Marijuana. Discussion of the motion followed. Sheets asked how non-permitted use areas could be approved. Lipton stated it would require an amendment to the LMC. Sheets asked why the CN zone district is not included. Loo stated there are residents and commercial uses side-by-side in a CN zone district. She identified one the CN districts as being across the street from Louisville Middle School. McCartney stated the SRU approval was removed by the City Attorney in the CN and I zone districts. Staff noted the following: North End Phase I Block 10 Re-plat would not be heard at the October  8, 2009 meeting. The applicant has requested the hearing be held at the November 12, 2009 meeting.
