He <br />suggested "Applicant shall redesign the NW wall to add interest either with <br />design features or landscaping." <br />Lipton and Loo accepted the friendly amendment. <br />Resolution No. 08, Series 2009, Urban Agriculture ekeeping: <br />A resolution recommending an amendm of the Louise <br />Municipal Code allowing Beekeep residential zoned areas. <br />Public Notice Certification: <br />Continued business item from the July 9 2009 meeting to date specific. No new <br />notice required. <br />Conflict of Interest and Disclosure: <br />None heard. <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />McCartney summarized with the following points: <br />The ordinance has been edited to reflect the requested changes from the <br />previous meeting by the Commissioners. <br />The ordinance has also been reviewed by the City Attorney. <br />McCartney suggested discussion by the Commissioners to review the ordinance <br />for additional changes <br />Russell, Hartman, Loo and Pritchard stated they had no questions or changes at <br />this time. <br />Lipton had quests about the Property -Owner vs. Beekeeper. Does it mean <br />that the property -owner can lease his backyard to a beekeeper? He also <br />questioned the license requirement and the notification process. <br />NOTE: Tengler arrived at 7:35 PM <br />Russell stated the 500' notice requirements seems excessive. He proposed a 30- <br />day sign on the property. <br />Pritchard recommended a 100' notice requirement. <br />Hartman and Loo agreed that posting the property makes sense. <br />
