Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Lynn Moore, Davidson Partnership Architects, 1775 Sherman Street, Suite 3100, Denver, Colorado, <br />gave a brief review of the project and was available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />Mayer inquired who the owner of Avista Hospital is. <br /> <br />John SackeR, Hospital Administrator, replied the hospital is owned by a division of Sisters of Charity <br />and managed by Centura Health. <br /> <br />Mayer expressed disappointment with the proposed parking structure, primarily due to its height and <br />lighting. <br /> <br />Howard agreed with Mayer. <br /> <br />Chuck Keim, 1711 15th Street, Boulder, Colorado, provided a brief explanation of the drainage plan <br />and was available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Sisk requested that signage plans be included in the applicant's package and that landscaping is <br />increased in order to obscure the parking structure. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council forward the Final PUD Development Plan for Avista Adventist Hospital - <br />100 Health Park Drive, to Planning Commission with Council comments, seconded by Mayer. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN LOT 4 COAL <br />CREEK BUSINESS PARK - MARRIOT RESIDENCE INN - 92-UNIT EXTENDED <br />STAY HOTEL <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated this is a Final PUD Development Plan for a 92-room extended <br />stay hotel on Lot 4 of the recently approved Coal Creek Business Park development. Hotels are a <br />permitted use in the Commercial Business zoning district, and staff believes that the concept <br />proposed by the Residence Inn fits within the zoning code definition of a hotel.
