Davidson questioned the cost differential, suggesting the City purchase the poles independently
versus from Public Service.

Keany agreed and replied that another suggestion was to install pedestrian-height omamental lights
in front of the Louisville Middle School or at least have the wiring put in place for possible future
installation.

Davidson agreed and directed City staffto present the request to the Public Works Department.
Lathrop questioned the benefit of the taller street lights versus the pedestrian-height lights.

Keany agreed and stated that he felt the way to tie Main Street together is to continue the pedestrian-
height lights down Main Street.

Howard, Lathrop and Levihn agreed.

Davidson, Howard and Keany agreed that they would like to see the wiring put in place so lights
could be added later.

Davidson directed City staff to follow-up on the DBA lighting request.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Davidson called for the City Clerk to read the Executive Session Guidelines Statement.

Dave Clabots, City Clerk, read the executive session guidelines.

Lathrop moved that Council adjoum into an executive session for consideration of purchase terms
and conditions for a parcel of open space land and water rights, seconded by Howard. All in favor.

Council adjourned for an executive session.

Davidson called the meeting back to order.

Lathrop reported that as a result of executive session discussion on purchase terms and conditions
for a parcel of open space land and water rights, he moved that Council approve a request to direct
the City Attomey to draft a purchase contract for this parcel and proceed to complete the acquisition,
seconded by Howard. All in favor.

NONE

CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT

10
