Davidson questioned the cost differential, suggesting the City purchase the poles independently <br />versus from Public Service. <br /> <br />Keany agreed and replied that another suggestion was to install pedestrian-height omamental lights <br />in front of the Louisville Middle School or at least have the wiring put in place for possible future <br />installation. <br /> <br />Davidson agreed and directed City staffto present the request to the Public Works Department. <br />Lathrop questioned the benefit of the taller street lights versus the pedestrian-height lights. <br /> <br />Keany agreed and stated that he felt the way to tie Main Street together is to continue the pedestrian- <br />height lights down Main Street. <br /> <br />Howard, Lathrop and Levihn agreed. <br /> <br />Davidson, Howard and Keany agreed that they would like to see the wiring put in place so lights <br />could be added later. <br /> <br />Davidson directed City staff to follow-up on the DBA lighting request. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Davidson called for the City Clerk to read the Executive Session Guidelines Statement. <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk, read the executive session guidelines. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council adjoum into an executive session for consideration of purchase terms <br />and conditions for a parcel of open space land and water rights, seconded by Howard. All in favor. <br /> <br />Council adjourned for an executive session. <br /> <br />Davidson called the meeting back to order. <br /> <br />Lathrop reported that as a result of executive session discussion on purchase terms and conditions <br />for a parcel of open space land and water rights, he moved that Council approve a request to direct <br />the City Attomey to draft a purchase contract for this parcel and proceed to complete the acquisition, <br />seconded by Howard.
