PUBLIC HEARING - RESOLUTION No. 41, SERIES 1998 - AMENDMENT OF THE <br />1998 BUDGET FOR PURCHASE OF OPEN SPACE AND WATER RIGHTS <br />(Published Louisville Times 8/1/98) <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, stated the General, Conservation Trust-Lottery, and Conservation <br />Trust-Land Acquisition Funds will participate in the purchasing of open space. The Conservation <br />Trust-Land Acquisition Fund will purchase the open space and attached water rights, and <br />conservation easement, with the other funds contributing through fund transfers. The right-of-way <br />parcel (4.5 acres) will be purchased by the Capital Projects Fund, and the 'excess' water rights by <br />the Water Utility Fund. This supplemental appropriation will provide for the transfers and <br />acquisition of the land and water rights. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone in the audience wishing to speak on <br />Resolution No. 41, Series 1998. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 41, Series 1998 - An Amendment of the 1998 <br />Budget for Purchase of Open Space and Water Rights, seconded by Howard. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6-0 vote. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 42, SERIES 1998 - AUTHORIZING AN INTERFUND LOAN FOR <br />PURCHASE OF OPEN SPACE, CONSERVATION EASEMENT AND WATER RIGHTS <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 42, Series 1998 - Authorizing an Interftmd Loan <br />for Purchase of Open Space, Conservation Easement and Water Rights, seconded by Howard. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken.
