Nardi 15, 1977 • Minutes - page 4 mum= #535 All m.,mbers of Council had before them a UNIFORM BUILDING CODE copy of Ordinance #535. Attorney Joss read Ordinance #535 on first reading by title only. Councilman Caranci roved that Ordinance #535 be ordered published twice before brought up on second reading, and the public hearing be scheduled for the first meeting in May. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor - motion carried. ORDINANCE #536 All member of Council had before them a UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE copy of Ordiannce #536. Attorney Joss read the Ordinance on first by title only. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #536 be ordered published twice before brought up on second reading and public hearing be scheduled for the first meeting in May. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. ORDINANCE #537 All members of Council had before them a . ZONING FOR MASSAGE copy of Ordinance #537 for review and PARLORS file. Attorney Joss read Ordinance #537 by title only. It was agreed that the title state Massage Parlors and or Massage Establishments. Councilman McDonald moved that Ordinance #537 be ordered published as amended. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call vote: Caranci yes, McDonald yes, Domenico yes, DiCarlo no, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo no. Motion carried. DENVER PORNOGRAPHY Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance ORDINANCE has already been declared unconstitutional by a District Court in the City and County of Denver. Attorney Joss stated that he did not know whether it would be necessary to have a City ordinance as the State law is since the Police Department could write summons to the County Court should the law be violated. After discussion Councilman DiCarlo coved that the City Attorney be authorized to draft an ordinance pertaining to pornography following the State Statutes and also pursue the poseiblity of a zoning ordinance re- quirement. Seconded by Councilman Caranci.
