410 111
Regular Meeting, Louisville City Council, June 6, 1978. PAGE 8
RIZZI SUIT NOTICE Councilman DiCarlo suggested to Attorney
Joss that perhaps it would be a good idea
to cover the Rizzi Suit, which was also
included with the City Administrator's
Report. Attorney Joss was reluctant to
give a lot of information at this time, how-
ever, did suggest that if the Council members
wished to know more Chief Munger would make
the report available to Council members.
He did state that the parties involved had
contacted an attorney pertinent to the Colo.
Statute stated in the suit. This is re-
quired to be done within 90 days of the
occurence of the alleged incident, or he
has waived his right to file suit. Mayor
Waschak advised Attorney Joss to have a copy
of the report given to each Councilman.
Attorney Joss agreed to do this.
Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City
Attorney's Report be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier.
Question called for. 4 ayes - none opposed.
Motion carried.
CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S
REPORT Administrator Wurl advised Council that last
year the City was approved by CU to have
INTERN PROGRAM, C.U. an intern for the summer, the program did
not materialize at that time, but we have her
this year, as a graduate sutdent in Public
Administration. She is paid from a $1000
Grant from the University.
CHANGE OF COUNCIL
MEETING DATES Administrator Wurl advised Council the first
regular meeting falls on July 4th and suggested
moving it up to July 6th; Wednesday, July 5th
is regular Coal Creek meeting. Also, the
first meeting in August would be August 1st
which is Colorado Day, a holiday, and suggested
this date be changed to August 3rd. Also
asked the press to print this so everyone
wishing to attend would be aware of the change
of dates. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that
the first regular Council meeting in July will
be held July 6, 1978, and the first meeting
in August be held August 3, 1978. Seconded
by Councilman Meier. Question called for.
4 ayes - none opposed. Motion carried.
