411 41, <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 649 Mr. Jim Hillhouse, representing the <br /> CONTINUED applicant stated that there is approx- <br /> imately 10. 3 acres and the zoning re- <br /> quested is R-L. <br /> There were no other comments for or <br /> against. <br /> Mr. Drumm stated that the Planning <br /> Commission approved the request and <br /> recommended that Council approve it also. <br /> He also stated that the area up for <br /> annexation is surrounded on three sides <br /> by the City limits. <br /> With no other comments, Mayor Waschak <br /> closed the public hearing. <br /> Mr. Drumm stated that staff has seen some <br /> preliminary plans for the area with the <br /> single family dwellings being in the <br /> center and multi family units on the <br /> perimeter, staff would like to have <br /> the higher density in the center and <br /> • single family on the perimeter. . <br /> He noted that 7,000 sq. ft. lots are <br /> required and after dedication is made <br /> there will be approximately 4 units <br /> to the acre. <br /> After discussion Councilman DelPizzo <br /> moved that Ordinance No. 649 be adopted. <br /> Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. ' <br /> DelPizzo yes , Berry yes. Caranci yes, <br /> Meier yes , Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 650 Attorney Joss stated that due to the re- <br /> HIGHFILL ZONING REQUEST scheduling of the June 19, council meet- <br /> RESCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARING ing to June 26, 1979, the public hearing <br /> notice was only published 13 days in <br /> advance and it needs to be advertised at least <br /> 15 days prior to the hearing; therfore, <br /> he recommended that Council reschedule <br /> the public hearing for August 21, 1979. <br /> Councilman Kilker moved that the public <br /> hearing on Ordinance #650 be rescheduled <br /> for August 21, 1979. Seconded by Coun- <br /> cilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 652 Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 652 <br /> EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION on second reading by title only. <br /> SECOND READING Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br /> No. 652 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br /> man DelPizzo. Roll call. Kilker yes, <br /> Berry yes, DiCarlo no, Caranci yes, <br /> Meier yes. DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br />
