• • 9/15/81 Page-9- Director Rupp advised this subdivision was basically the replat of Centennial Valley I - located at Pine Street and Hoover Ave. consisting of 30.92 acres, zoned RE - Residential Estates. The plan is for 110 duplex units in lieu of 105 detached single family homes. The open space areas will be dedicated to the City and will be fully improved with bike trails, sod, irrigation system, trees, etc. OPEN SPACE AREA Mayor Caranci wanted to verify the amount of open space to be dedicated at 19+ acres, and how much of the area would be in grass. Director Hioco advised approximately 5 acres, and the outer areas will be natural grasses with an irrigation system provided. Mayor Caranci then asked approximately how much water the open space would require. Director Hioco advised approximately 3 times a week it would be irrigated. Mayor Caranci asked if there were enough personnel to maintain the area. Hioco advised the present staff would be sufficient. Councilman Cummings Remarked the words "large drainage easement," "retention pond". "native grass." Wondered if this would cause the same problem that has plagued the City at Lake Park. Hioco advised that it would not, if properly maintained and graded correctly. ADOPTION Councilman Aeier moved that Resolution #21 Sundance Replat and P.U.D. be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Brown. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. RESOLUTION #22 - CENTENNIAL Attorney Rautenstraus requested this item VALLEY I - REPLAT & P.U.D. be tabled per the developer. TABLED Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution #22 - Centennial Valley I Replat & P.U.D. • be tabled. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried.
