They also ex-
pressed the desire to come downtown to
eat, etc. and are trying to get the ex-
tension of services.
Councilman Meier remarked that the City
had been paying for the service for a
long time, and RTD was not providing it.
He suggested better service or a cut in
our RTD tax.
REGAL SQUARE HOUSING Councilman Meier inquired what the status
of repairs were to Regal Square.
Rupp advised that a systematic maintenance
program has been set-up, taken an inventory
of repairs, provisions are being made to
wrap the pipes and insulate for the winter.
Also Centennial Engineering has given re-
ports on structural damage, soil tests have
been taken. Will be cleaning carpets, drap-
eries. Also he and Director Hioco have
worked out a plan to care for the lawn,
and shrubery. The big problem is structural
and letters have been sent to the architect
and contractor stating that if something
isn't done, we will take legal action.
Councilman DelPizzo Councilman DelPizzo inquired about the
Electric Clock for Outside electric clock that was to have been
City Hall installed outside the City Hall building.
Councilman Fauson advised that he was
trying to get donations for this item,
but a firm decision by council was not
made as to where to place it and had not
pursued it.
Councilman Cummings Thanked Director Hioco for having the
meeting relative to the problems at Lake
Park.
Councilman Fauson Stated he would again contact the business
people regarding donations for the electric
clock.
