This extremely <br /> irritated him. <br /> Administrator Wurl Advised it was his opinion that the property <br /> had been zoned light industrial for a number <br /> of years. A portion of what the staff was <br /> relying on, when they applied to subdivide <br /> the property, was the County's publicized <br /> position that they were opposed to approving <br /> development outside the City limits, in <br /> either our planning area or the City's <br /> urban services area. Also, their stated <br /> policy that they were going to direct the <br /> growth and development to inside the City <br /> limits and inside the Comp Plan. <br /> Councilman Leary Inquired if any building permits had been <br /> approved by Boulder County as yet; is there <br /> still the opportunity that the City could <br /> protest? <br /> Rupp advised it was his understanding when <br /> the County approved the subdivision, it would <br /> be difficult to deny approval for a building <br /> permit. <br /> Mayor Meier Commented regardless of the outcome of the <br /> request, he personally felt a letter should <br /> be written to-Boulder County stating that the City's <br /> zoning and their zoning design ationstmld agree, <br /> and the City's referral reply tending to <br /> be ignored, and this does not create the <br /> best working rel*tionehip between the tnu, <br /> especially since Louisville has endeavored <br /> to uphold the Boulder Valley Comp Plan, while <br /> the City's Comp Plan is not receiving the <br /> same treatment. He requested Attorney ?tauten- <br /> straws and Director Rupp provide Council <br />
