•
•
12/7/82 Page -6-
Councilman Cussen then inquired if there
was a time line when the Elementary School
would be hooked-up?
Tennessen reported as soon as Mrs . Labuda
is contacted they will install the service.
Apologized for the delay and misunderstanding.
City Hall Cussen inquired why this installation was
not done until November. He referred to
a memo from the Director of Services stating
that he had contacted Storer and they pro-
mised to have the system available for the
Library and City Hall in April of 1982. Also,
the studio and portable equipment would not
be available for a few months .
Tennessen stated he did not have a definite
answer for the delay in service. Did state
that a crew was sent from Loveland when the
building was being constructed and they were
assured there was no need to install the ser-
vice at that time . Then another attempt was
made in the early part of the year and there
was a technical problem, from then on no fur-
ther contact was made until November.
Cussen then advised when he inquired how many
drops would be made at City Hall , he was
advised by the Building Dept . and Library
that there would be one . The agreement read
as many as needed.
Tennessen advised they would abide by the agree-
ment by providing as many drops and converters
as council wished to have.
Cussen requested that Administrator Wurl
direct someone on staff to find out how many
are needed. He suggested Council Chambers ,
Police Dept . and wherever else deemed necessary.
Fiscal Reports Councilman Cussen inquired when Council would
be provided this report.
Tennessen advised their fiscal year was the
calendar year. They did not do any business
in 1981 , but will submit this report soon after
the first of the year.
Portable Video Equipment Cussen commented that portable video equip-
ment was to be available for citizens to
check out . He wished to know how many would
be available after the equipment is delivered?
Tennessen advised they would go beyond the
original agreement regarding this equipment
which would allow the citizens and council
to do some production things.
!Mobile Broadcasting Van Councilman Cussen wished to know the status
of this .
The reply was delivery would be in January, also.
This is the type equpment needed to do a foot-
ball game for example .
