411 410 <br /> 12/20/83 Page -9- <br /> ORDINANCE #818 - MODEL ELEVATOR Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance <br /> CODE which had been requested by the Building <br /> Dept. relating to the program established <br /> by DRCOG to provide area wide or regional <br /> elevator inspection service. Attorney Rauten- <br /> straus read it by title only on first read <br /> in and the request was for publication and <br /> a public hearing be set. <br /> PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED AND Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SET seconded that Ordinance #818 - model Elevator <br /> Code be published and a public hearing set <br /> for January 17, 1984. <br /> Councilwoman Morris Inquired what was behind putting the permit <br /> fees for this inspection. stated <br /> Attorney Rautenstraus/that they were as closii <br /> as we could get theta based on what our costs <br /> would be to hire the person 'ar the inspections. <br /> Councilwoman Morris comments.. that the City <br /> does the inpsection and the permit fess basi- <br /> cally reimburse us for that inppection. <br /> Rautenstraus advised that the City is in <br /> charge of the inspection-they don't actually <br /> do it, because it requires someone that has <br /> had 4-5 years experience in this field and <br /> the City hires this person. There are 10 <br /> elevators in the city. <br /> Administrator Wurl advised that DRCOG has <br /> established a cooperative elevator inspection <br /> program and the City will be a part of it. <br /> VOTE ON THE MOTION Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> RESOLUTION #45 - HUNTERS' Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution, <br /> RIDGE FINAL Q.U.D. as well as summary from Director of Community <br /> Development Rupp, and recommendation of <br /> the Planning Commission. Attorney Rauten- <br /> straus read the resolution in its entirety. <br /> Dennis Drumm, 815 Walnut St. Mr. Drum stated that the Planning Commission <br /> Representing Columbine Homes had reviewed the P.V.D. This is the Hochedrr <br /> property on the north side of South Boulder <br /> Road and was zoned agricultural, RI. - single <br /> family, and R-M multi-family. The intent <br /> of the plan as has been approved to date is <br /> to transfer density from the agricultural <br /> parcel, which is to be a city park, to the <br /> R-L and R-M areas. He understood at this <br /> time the City Parks and Recreation Dept. <br /> has completed or is working on a plan for <br /> • a park in the northeast corner. <br />
