• 8/7/84 Page -5. In reply to Councilwoman Morris' question as to how many permits were left of the 100, Mr. Ferris stated that there are 2 in the 'other' category which this would fall under. His understanding of Council's feeling on the *other" category was for houses that people were having a crunch on their loan, or that they had purchased their lot and were unable to build because of the water crisis and the building permit moratorium. There were two individuals that had stated to Mr. Ferris that they would be coming in for permits but hadn't at the present time. Councilwoman Morris stated she would like to see this permit granted to the students to complete their education and that it be taken from the "other" category. Councilman Luce Inquired if it was possible to delay this decision until we are dealing with this question in a larger context .related to the data cg mind back from the water pretreatment facility. Mr. Ferris advised that they would have to know by the beginning of the school year in order to get it approved= and they have to budget for it before that time. Therefore, he felt they would appreciate approval this evening if possible. Councilwoman Johnson Inquired if there was any other site rather then the Louisville site. She also asked if this request should be denied, would their project be scrapped? Mr. Ferris felt that is the permit was not issued here, the project would be scrapped. Mayor Meier advised that the last time he spoke with Mr. Peterseon, the only lots that the school had available were in our City. REQUEST APPROVED Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that Council approve the request of Boulder Valley Schools for a building permit and that it come out of the "Other" category where there are 2 remaining permits left. Mike Linko, the Cable TV operator was re- questing payment of $S0 per council session when he is working alone.
