Planning Commission approved the request
at the May 27th meeting with six conditions as
outlined within the information given to Council.
Mayor Pauson opened the public hearing and asked
for anyone wishing to speak in favor of or in
opposition to this permit request. Hone.
Devi Stahl, Momart Development Co., stated %hat he
concurred with the conditions outline by the
Planning Commission and gave background
information regarding the project. Stahl stated
that the gravel was mined under State permit in
1981 and anticipated that the gravel would be
crushed onsite and would be a sub-base for the
Centennial valley Nail parking lot and streets.
Road base is no longer required - full depth
asphalt is being used for roadway construction.
This is the only surplus gravel on site and they
would like to remove it as quickly as possible to
finalise grading on Parcel O.
14
