4 Mayor Fauson moved that staff be authorised to negotiate with the National Golf Foundation for their assistance in developing a golf course in Louisville. Carnival seconded. Mohr asked that the Mayor include in his motion that alternatives 02 and #3 also be pursued. Mayor Fauson agreed as did Carnival. By Roll Call Vote, the motion passed 5-0 with Sackett and Anderson abstaining. RESOLUTION #7 - HOWARD BERRY ANNEXATION - FINDINGS Rautenstraus road in its entirety Resolution #7. "A resolution setting forth findings of fact and conclusions relative to the annexation of certain real property located south of U.S. Highway 36." Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and proper notice of the public hearing was established. Wanush stated at the public hearing on February 10, 1987, the Planning Commission reviewed the Howard Berry site annexation and zoning proposal. The Commission recommended that the approximately 7.5 acre site be annexed and coned Agricultural. The entire annexation, including rights-of-way, includes a total of 11.23 acres. The site itself has been planned as a potential water treatment facility for the City. The property meats both the contiguity and "community of interest.' The agricultural zoning allows 'public uses" upon special review. Resolution #7 incorporates some of the findings of fact which must be made by the Council in order to find substantial compliance with statutory requirement for annexation. Mayor Fauson asked for anyone wishing to speak either in to opposition or in favor of Resolution 07. None. Mayor Fauson asked for Council questions or comments. None.
